For the first time, a Ukrainian Startup will participate in a region-wide pitching event during the 2021 SelectUSA Investment Summit.
On May 21, 2021, the Ukrainian Association of Fintech and Innovation Companies, and the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv held a virtual pitch competition for Ukrainian start-ups looking to participate in the 2021 SelectUSA Investment Summit.
Cardiomo, a med-tech solution to monitor heart health in real time, was selected as the winner of the virtual pitch competition. As a result, Cardiomo will attend the 2021 SelectUSA Investment Summit and compete against the winners of other in-market pitch competitions from markets across Europe.

Seven startups that met the selection criteria were approved to participate in the in-country pitch session. The panel of judges consisted of Rostyslav Dyuk, Chairman of the Management Board, Ukrainian Association of Fintech and Innovation Companies, Pavel Kartashov, CEO, Ukrainian Startup Fund, U.S. Department of Commerce, and U.S. Embassy Kyiv representatives.
