On July 18, 2025, the official presentation of the
Ukrainian Catalog of FinTech Companies 2025 took place in Kyiv. The publication is an annual analytical study of the country's fintech ecosystem, reflecting its current structure, scale, and challenges.
The Catalog was created with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), in partnership with the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), the Good Governance Foundation of the British Government in Ukraine (GGF), and the Ukrainian Startup Fund.
The research underlying the Catalog was conducted in April and May 2025, in the form of an online survey. The event was attended by 150 representatives from Ukrainian fintech companies, banks, and international fintech companies with branches operating in Ukraine. Data from open sources was also used in the process.
According to the research, there are 257 fintech companies operating in the market, of which:
- 76% have already passed the break-even point
- 38% operate internationally
- 78% have their headquarters in Kyiv
- 84% are financed exclusively by their own funds
- 18% have female founders
- 6% of companies operate entirely outside of Ukraine.
Geographically, the largest number of players is concentrated in Kyiv. The second position is occupied by Dnipro, and the third - by Lviv.
The presentation of the Catalog brought together representatives of the financial sector, international organizations, government institutions, media, and think tanks. The event also featured the first results of the DoWithUA initiative and two panel discussions on the state of Ukrainian fintech and the prospects for integration into the European market.
The catalog opens up opportunities for a deeper understanding of the market structure, new business connections, and support for the innovation environment. UAFIC continues to develop industry expertise and support the growth of Ukrainian fintech.
