The Ukrainian Association of Fintech and Innovation Companies has become a signatory to the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Code (WE Finance Code) in Ukraine.

The WE Finance Code is an international initiative that brings together financial institutions, regulators, and other ecosystem participants to expand access to finance for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises led by women. Today, the Code is being implemented in over 30 countries and unites more than 500 signatories.

In Ukraine, the initiative is led by the Ministry of Economy and the National Bank of Ukraine, with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The official launch of the WE Finance Code in Ukraine took place on July 14, 2026.

For UAFIC, joining the Code offers an opportunity to participate in the collaborative development of financial instruments and solutions for women entrepreneurs, as well as to exchange experience and best practices with stakeholders in the financial ecosystems of Ukraine and other countries.

As a signatory, UAFIC commits to working across the three key pillars of the WE Finance Code-leadership, data, and action-aimed at supporting women-led businesses.
