The event brought together fintech leaders, representatives of banks, startups, and specialized associations from Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkan region, and other countries. For two days, participants discussed the challenges, opportunities, and ways to develop financial innovations in the modern world.
Rostyslav Dyuk, Chairman of the Board of UAFIC, took part in two sessions of the festival. On June 17, he moderated the panel discussion Financial Cybersecurity and Resilience in Times of War, which was dedicated to the topic of cyber defense of the financial system in the face of military threats.
The next day, on June 18, he spoke at the panel The Regional FinTech Ecosystem - Cross-Border Collaboration for Innovation, where he discussed the development of the regional FinTech ecosystem and the role of interstate cooperation with colleagues from Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Moldova.
In addition to public speeches, members of the UAFIC delegation took part in a series of informal meetings to discuss potential areas of partnership in the region. The festival has become a valuable platform for sharing experiences, building new contacts, and gaining a deeper understanding of the needs and challenges faced by fintech communities in different countries.
