Banking system on the leading edge: How innovation is changing Ukraine's financial sector

November 4, 2024, Kyiv - The fourth annual Digital Banking Conference was successfully held in the UNIT City innovation space. The conference was made possible thanks to the joint efforts of leading market players. The event was organized by the Ukrainian Association of Fintech and Innovative Companies. Visa was the general partner, Fintechly was the analytical partner, and Fintech Insider was the media partner. The event was also organized with the support of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in partnership with the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Good Governance Foundation of the UK Government in Ukraine (GGF).
This year's conference brought together more than 300 representatives of leading banks, non-banks, payment providers, microfinance organizations, regulators, international institutions and investors to discuss new trends in digitalization, cybersecurity and innovations that shape the future of the banking industry in the face of new challenges.
The main topics of the conference included discussions of modern approaches to cybersecurity in the financial sector, new opportunities for digitalization of services, and ways to increase banks' resilience to cyberattacks. The program included three panel discussions and eight presentations by leading industry experts who shared their experience and vision of the future of the banking sector. Participants also had the opportunity to enjoy Keynote speeches and engage in live discussions with top management of leading Ukrainian banks.

Digital Banking Conference 2024 created a unique platform for sharing experiences, establishing new contacts and discussing pressing issues facing the Ukrainian banking sector. The event emphasized the importance of innovation and cybersecurity for the sustainable development of financial institutions, especially in the context of current challenges.
