Kyiv, September 11, 2020. Ukrainian Association of FinTech and Innovation Companies (UAFIC) and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. This is another important stage in the development of the Ukrainian FinTech Ecosystem.
Rostyslav Dyuk, Chairman of the Board of UAFIC, believes that combining efforts and experience of the Association and the Ministry will provide a right course of development of digital transformation strategy, which, given the spread of COVID-19 in Ukraine and the world, is a particularly pressing issue.
"Important tasks of cooperation today are the development of tools for remote identification, improving financial literacy among the citizens, ensuring the conviniance of financial services use for various groups of the population and, accordingly, the adaptation of e-government services", - said Rostyslav Dyuk.
Lyudmila Rabchynska Deputy Minister of Digital transformation said that now there are many joint steps ahead after signing of the memorandum.
"From expanding and improving the reliability of electronic identification tools, with respect to requirements of the Law on Financial Monitoring, to developing administrative services with simplified access to them. Also, the development of e-commerce and business, providing conditions for online dispute resolution, development of online payment tools and payment platforms, including assistance in attracting and functioning of international payment systems in Ukraine are important areas of cooperation. I am sure that everything will work out, and the development of e-commerce will grow every year, and the introduction of electronic means of communication between citizens and the state, business and among themselves will create new, comfortable conditions for interaction," - said Lyudmila Rabchynska.
