MFO Days at UAFIC: key workshop conclusions

Ruslan Kostetsky and Igor Luzhansky have spoken at the event
On September 10, 2020 the first seminar of the "MFO Days at UAFIC" series, organized by the Ukrainian Association of FinTech and Innovation Companies (UAFIC), took place. At the event, Ruslan Kostetskyі, UAFIC Deputy Chairman of the Board, presented the possibilities of The National Financial Complaints Mediation Platform FinSkarga to representatives of microfinance organizations. He said that the platform started receiving complaints from citizens on September 8, 2020. Now it is working in a pilot mode, but the full functionality of the service will be available at the end of this year. Just to refresh that FinSkarga was created by UAFIC within the framework of a grant provided by the USAID project "Financial Sector Transformation".

"FinSkarga is a convenient tool for submiting and processing complaints from consumers of financial services. The platform was created in order to restore consumer confidence in the financial sector and increase the level of financial literacy among the sitizens. This service is relevant not only for consumers, but also for market players, because it automates the process of working with complaints without additional costs, "- said Ruslan Kostetsky.

Now FinSkarga is accepting for cooperation only banks and microfinance organizations.

Igor Luzhansky, UAFIC member, co-founder of Chatbots.Studio, also spoke at the seminar and told about the possibilities of chatbots for achieving MFO's business goals. "Messengers allow you to create two-way communication with the borrower. And bots as a messenger tool - quickly respond to customer requests. In addition, the referral program works effectively: through the messenger you can invite other people. In addition, the whole cycle: circulation, issuance of credit, its repayment and reactivation of the client - can be implemented through messengers, "- said Igor Luzhansky.

About 60 people have been registered for the seminar, but due to quarantine restrictions the Association could not accept all guests. We are so sorry about it and will be happy if you visit our next events!
